Michael David Johnston, Jr, 34, of Stephens City, VA, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, in Berkeley County, West Virginia. 

Michael was born on July 15, 1980, in Winchester, VA, the son of Linda Hart Milburn and Michael David Johnston, Sr.

Michael is survived by three children, Dylan Michael, Hunter Ray and Mixxy Noelle.

Surviving with his parents are stepfather, Mike Milburn; stepmother, Carol Johnston; maternal grandparents, John and Shannon Hart; and paternal grandmother, Dee Johnston; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michael is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ronald Johnston and his maternal great-grandmother, Grace Davis.

Michael enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He was loved, very much, by his children and family. 

A memorial service will be on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, 1600 Amherst St., Winchester, VA.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to   Froggy’s Closet at 41 S. Loudoun Street, Winchester, VA 22601 or Henry & William Evans Home for Children, 330 E. Leicester, Street, Winchester, VA  22601 or Children’s Miracle Network, 3002 Dow Avenue, Suite 126, Tustin, CA  92780.
