Mervin L. Schrock

Mervin L. Schrock, 83, of Winchester, Virginia, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011, in his home.

Mr. Schrock was born in 1927, in Ohio, the son of the late Lester and Lydia Schrock. He was a Carpenter and was a self-employed Heating and Sheet Metal worker. He was a member of the Sunnyside Mennonite Church in Kalona, Iowa.

He married Lovina Hostetler on September 18, 1948, in Hartville, Ohio.

Surviving with his wife are 10 children John Mark, Susan Hochstetler, Larry, Timothy, Joy Hileman, Debra Yoder, Juanita Gerber, Fred, Charlotte and Frank, 22 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Mr. Schrock was one of fifteen children and is preceded in death by his brother, Bill Schrock.

A funeral service will be conducted at Maple Grove Mennonite Church in Hartville, Ohio. Interment will be in King Church Cemetery, Hartville, Ohio.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 2:00-4:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
