I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your mom. She's with your dad now and I bet they're having a time with my mom and dad (Stanley and Louse). May God give you peace.

Rev. Susan Garrett left a message on December 2, 2021:
Dear Denny, Donna and Family, I was so very sorry to hear about Melda. I have so many wonderful memories of my time at Grace Church; and Melda and Gil were such a major part of my life in those years. They were both always working so hard for the things they believed in, and they loved the churches they committed to, in Arlington and in Middletown. Grace was so fortunate to have them as members, and I to be their pastor. One of my favorite memories of Melda was a Halloween party when she dressed up her mother, Mrs. Baker, as a witch, and thrilled all the children. Melda got such joy out of that! Blessings, Susan
Larry Racey left a message on December 1, 2021:
I remember Melda and Buck since I was a kid. My Mom and Dad rented from the Bakers and lived next door for several years after my Dad got out of service. I hasn't been long since Melda and I discussed the trip to Connecticut and NY we all took when I was a kid. Myself, my brother Jerry, Mom and Dad along with Melda, Buck and Dennis. Melda frequently talked with My Mom, Louise Racey and after we lost Mom in August, I talked with her over the phone. I will miss those calls, but remember all the years we have known her. Maxine and I and all our family sent our thoughts and prayers to Dennis, Donna and all the family.
Neil and Peggy Ramsay left a message on November 30, 2021:
We knew Melda as a wonderful neighbor and a good friend in Autumn Glen, Stephens City. She was famous in Autumn Glen for her incredibly delicious home made spaghetti sauce that she would make in huge batches for Autumn Glen's annual spaghetti dinners. I consider myself blessed to have known her, and to have been given her secret recipe to that marvelous spaghetti sauce. We both miss her very much.
