Mary Patricia Moore, 81, of Winchester, Virginia passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Rose Hill of Berryville.

Ms. Moore was born in 1937 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Michael and Frances Bassi. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and a former member of the Winchester Moose. Ms. Moore was a very compassionate person, always giving to various charitable organizations. She also was a very competitive person when playing bingo or cards and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Mary enjoyed cooking, loved music and singing.

Surviving are daughters, Tina Hill, Julie Ferraro (Fred), Teresa Saunders (Keith), Mary “Frannie” Winstead, and Marian Horn (Craig); a son, Donald Nothey (Tracy); sixteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanina Jenness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 am on Friday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Winchester, Virginia. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia.
