Mary Margaret Wolfe Grady, 95, of White Post, VA died Monday, April 23, 2012 at her home.

Mrs. Grady was born in 1916 in Hot Springs, Virginia, the daughter of the late Jim and Louise Wolfe. She was a homemaker and loving mother.

She married Forest Grady, Sr. on October 31, 1934 in Front Royal, Virginia.

Surviving are four daughters, Flossie Tevault of Toms Brook, VA, Alice Edmonds and Mary Ann Himeright, both of Stephens City, VA, and Donna Jill Hillyard of Strasburg, VA; six sons, Clarence Grady of Stephens City, VA, Dewey Grady of Woodstock, VA, Albert M. Grady of White Post, VA, Danny Grady of Front Royal, VA, Irvin Grady of Stephens City, VA and Delmer Grady of Bentonville, VA; 68 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren, and a sister, Ruby Waynebright of Richmond, VA.

Mrs. Grady was preceded in death by two daughters, Peggy Burgess and Stella Catlett, and two sons, James Grady and Forest Grady, Jr.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Lee Grady, Tony Edmonds, Jeff Grady, Delmer Grady, Jr., Andy Grady and Chris Grady. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Grady, Jr., and Christopher Grady, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.

Aunt Mary was a wonderful lady with a joking personality. She was a strong Christian, mother of so many children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. A good friend and neighbor to everyone. Very close to her sister, Ruby and all her family members that have passed. She loved them all. She will be missed here on earth by so many, many people; however she was welcomed into Heaven by the Lord and so many family members and friends. I will always love and miss her.
