Charles and I watched this morning. What a beautiful celebration of her life. Mary was the first person we met when we moved in across the street. Mary made us feel so welcomed. She was always interested in our lives, our boys and grandkids. We talked a lot about our “grands”. Before moving to Knoxville, I was able to help her some. It was my pleasure to spend time with her. I lost my Mother April 6, 2020. She was 98 and with dementia for 18 yrs, Mary was special to talk with, we laughed a lot, and those times reminded me of how my Mother would have been. Please know hearing Mary passed saddened us........we loved her......Prayers for peace and comfort.

Dear Davison Family, Please accept my heart felt condolences on your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Mary on her trips to Santa Monica to see Mark, Lisa and the kids. I always enjoyed our chats and she obviously loved her trips west to see them, especially her grandchildren Adam, Jordan and Sophie. May her beautiful spirit and deep love for her family bring you comfort during this time.

Liz, Tracie, Jimmy and Mark I am so sorry to hear the very sad news of your Mother's passing. What a wonderful friend she was to me. Blakeley and I had so many good times with your Dad and your Mom. Life is so ugly at times but it is real life. Please, if there is anything that I can do for you let me know. Berryville is still on the map and I am in Winchester daily. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend her service this morning, but must stay as safe as I can and not join you and your family at this difficult time. My condolence to each of you and to your families. Stay safe and wear that darn mask.. "Sam"

I was the CEO at Grafton School during the entirety of Mary's long service there. She was absolutely dedicated to the children with disabilities she worked with and was a wonderful colleague. Her intelligence, persistence, and good humor helped create the staff bonds which provided the supportive environment the students needed. The positive effects she had in children's lives are a permanent memorial to her.
