Mary L. Stacey, 68, of Luray, VA, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Heritage Hall in Front Royal.

Mary Lou was born in 1954 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Mindak. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from George Mason University. She spent her career as a nurse and worked at Alexandria Hospital. Mary Lou was founder of INS, Inc. an independent nursing agency that provided for Northern Virginia and the DMV with home healthcare assistance. She loved bird watching in her flower garden and loved to sing. Mary Lou also loved helping people in any way she could.

She married the late William J. Stacey, Sr. in 1986 and he passed in 2019.
Mary Lou is survived by her sons, Robert Stacey, William Stacey, Jr. (Jennifer); grandchildren, Gage and Weston Stacey; sister, Cathy Csorba (John), Maggie Schmidt (Carson); brothers, William Mindak (Jeri), Paul Mindak (Lynn), Steve Mindak and many loving nieces, cousins and friends.
