Mary “Kay” Kathryn Bordogna, 71, of Frederick County, Virginia passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Bordogna was born in 1947 in East Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Matthew and Edith Mudry. She was a graduate of East Pittsburgh High School and attended Robert Morris Business School. Mrs. Bordogna was past employed at Bell Telephone and Westinghouse Electric Corp. in East Pittsburgh. Her greatest passion was raising her family. She was a member of the Junior Achievement Business Organization, was a semi-finalist in the Junior Miss America Contest, a community volunteer and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Mrs. Bordogna enjoyed cooking, music (especially holiday music) and a good cup of Maxwell House coffee.
Mrs. Bordogna married Carmen Joseph Bordogna on April 11, 1969 in East Pittsburgh, PA.
Surviving with her husband are daughters, Nicole Sullivan (Scott) and Gina Sharp (Dan); sons, Jon-Paul Bordogna (Jessica) and Anthony Bordogna (Ashley); grandchildren, Brooke and Victoria Sullivan & Mia and Reagan Bordogna; sister, Lois Regrut and brother, Michael Mudry (Dorothy).
Mrs. Bordogna was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Andrew Regrut.
Visitation will be 10 AM on Monday, Oct. 8 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Winchester, Virginia, followed by a funeral mass at 11 AM. A private reception will follow at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
