Senseny Road Elementary School....hands down, the BEST place to spend your formative years...all because of caring teachers like Mrs. Betty Walters...Kindergarten was a blast...Mrs. Walters and Mrs. Cookie Oates...a dynamic duo for sure....from Fun Fairs to Colonial and Medeival school wide dress up days to Circus Day...it just didnt get anymore exciting than Senseny...a place where YOU came first and your education right after...they were so good at the process that you didnt even realize how much you were learning....Love and prayers to Cindy, Tommy, Bill, and their families....Another (Senseny) Superstar has reached Heaven....

Mrs. Walters was my Kindergarten teacher in 1978. I remember how she told me how beautiful my dress was on picture day & she let me use her pen that had blue ink on one end and red on the other. I thought I was pretty important! So funny! For any child that she & Mrs Oates had in that sweet classroom, Im sure they have those same memories that seem so minor but to me, it felt like I was the only kiddo in the class. I can't imagine the # of children that she made feel so safe, secure & loved on that 1st scary morning of kindegarten. Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Thank you, Mrs.Walters(L), you had a huge part in who many of us from Senseny Road have become today. You will never be forgotten and will always be loved!
