Mary B. Stotler
Mary Bolen Stotler, 94, of Winchester, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 14, 2012.
She was a homemaker and a member of Nineveh Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Stotler was the Director of Blossomettes, Skyliners, and Challengers majorette groups. She was a member of the Virginia Baton Council, USTA Baton Twirling Association as well as the National Baton Twirling Association. In addition she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 21 in Winchester and a Volunteer at the Veteran Hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia. She was a member of the Sunshine Ladies Club of Regency Lake, and member of the Optimists Clubs.
She married Richard Oliver Stotler on August 22, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1984.
Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn S. Baylis and her husband, Gary, of Winchester, Sandra K. Stotler of Berryville; son, Richard Wayne Stotler and his wife, Linda, of Winchester; grandchildren, Mike Stotler, Kevin Stotler, Stephanie Ryder, Sarah Watkins, Kathy Stotler, Jake Strosnider, Melissa Williams, Angela Blake, Scott Baylis, Amanda Baylis, Carrie Fair, Brandee Shillito and Thomas Whipple, II; and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Lindsey Stotler and two great grandsons, Trystan Fair and Allen Williams.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Pastor Steve Melester officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Scott Baylis, Thomas Whipple, II, Mike Stotler, Kevin Stotler, Jake Strosnider and Louis Bell.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
