Mary B. Baker
Mary Beatrice Baker, 82, of Winchester, Virginia, died Thursday, Nov. 15th 2012 in a local care facility, of natural causes.
Ms. Baker was born 1930 in Duluth Minn. She was adopted as an infant by Mr. Grant and Mrs. Mary Baker. She graduated from High School
and had some college education. She was a veteran, having served in the United States Army/ WAC. Ms. Baker was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Winchester and St. Joseph Catholic Church, Herndon Virginia. Her hobbies included time with friends, reading, and genealogy. She was an amazing story teller with a great sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph Payne, an infant son “Michael”, her long time companion Tom Edwards and all 5 of her siblings. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Richardson of Winchester, granddaughter, Christie Hough of Winchester, and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces and great friends Pat and Patti Lynch of Herndon.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00am on Fri. Nov. 30th at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Stanley J. Krempa officiating.
