Martha S. Allred, 88, of Ennice NC, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia.

Martha S. Allred was born on December 29, 1933, in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Richard Lee and Grace Money Sheetz. She ended her 30 plus year career with AT&T in 1987 which took her to offices in New York, New Jersey, and Georgia. She retired to Alleghany County to enjoy friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Esma L. Spaugh, and brothers Richard H. Sheetz and Charles S. Sheetz. Surviving are her brother Reverend Joe L. Sheetz and sister Helen Gray of Glade Valley. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews.

Martha was a faithful member of Sparta United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sparta United Methodist Church, 190 N Main Street, Sparta, NC 28675.

A private memorial service will be held in Winston-Salem, NC at later date.

Omps Funeral Home in Winchester, Virginia will be assisting the family.
