Martha Garretson Worley, 81 of Winchester, VA, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

Martha was born in 1943 in Beckley, WV, the daughter of the late Charles and Vera Garretson. She retired after 40 years of service as a secretary for the Department of Agriculture. Martha was a member of First Baptist Church in Inwood, WV. Martha was an avid reader and gardener. She enjoyed spending time with her family and beloved cats, Cookie, Lovey and Dovey.

She is survived by her husband, James Edward Worley whom she married on January 1, 1986, daughter, Angela Comiskey and her husband John and grandson, John Comiskey, Jr. She is also survived by her niece, Nicole Garretson and nephew, Nathan Garretson.

A Memorial Service will be held for Martha at Inwood Baptist Church at a later date.
