Martha Clevenger Macgregor

Martha Clevenger Macgregor, 97, of Stephenson, VA, died Friday, February 11, 2011 in a local nursing facility.

Mrs. Macgregor was born in 1913 in Nashville, North Carolina, daughter of the late Roger M. and Mae L. Collins. She was a homemaker, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Her first husband, Charles Stanley Clevenger, to whom she was married for over 60 years, preceded her in death. She was married to James Macgregor since 1997.

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Barbara C. Henkle of Green Valley, Arizona and Kay C. Zambrana of Richmond, Virginia, four grandchildren, a sister, Rachael C. Russell of Jacksonville, Florida, a step-daughter, Karen Ebert, and a step-son, Bruce Macgregor. One daughter, Ann Collins Clevenger, preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 15th, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dr. Richard Reifsnyder officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery at a later date.
