Mark Thomas Brown, 53, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2026, at his home.
Mark was born on December 6, 1972, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the cherished son of Jeanne Dell (Wick) Brown and the late Rodger Herman Brown. He spent his formative years attending the Northwestern Regional Educational Programs until the age of 22. Mark brought immense joy to his family, remaining a beloved and constant presence in their lives.
He is survived by his loving mother, Jeanne Dell Brown of Winchester, VA; his sisters, Leigh Ann Fox (Jeff) of Greencastle, PA, and Lisa Alane Davenport (J. David) of Mount Airy, MD; and his brother, Matthew James Brown of Stephens City, VA. Mark was a proud uncle to his nieces and nephews, Ryan (Chelsea), Eric (Amber), McKenna, Casey, and Taylor, as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaxin, Joplin, Grace, Reese, Cruz, Paisley, and Kayson. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Rodger.
Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with the service to be conducted at 2:00 PM at the Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
Interment will be private.

The family would like to thank his caregivers, therapist, doctors, nurses and the EMT’s for the care they gave Mark.
