On February 1, 2024, Mark Novak, originally from Perryopolis, PA entered eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth. He was the devoted husband of Mary Novak for 41 years and a proud father to George and Stephanie. Mark was not only a cherished family man but also a dear friend and hard worker. Known for his passion for the Steelers and the open road on his Harley.

Beyond his family and hobbies, Mark was known for hosting some of the best parties and creating lasting memories for friends and family alike. He is still the reigning horseshoe champion. He also took his secret pickled egg recipe to rest with him.

His vivacious personality and love for life touched everyone around him. Mark is survived by his father, Harry Novak, and siblings Harry Novak Jr., Tim Novak, Teresa Cluss, and Susan Guiser. He also leaves behind two adoring grandchildren, Cash and Banks Novak-England.

In remembrance, let us honor Mark Novak, who was preceded in death by his mother, Maryann Novak, and brother, Jeff Novak. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memories continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he touched.

A visitation will be held for Mark on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 5pm with a service to follow at 6pm, all held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
