Marjorie Saville Kitts, 73, of Berryville, Virginia, died Friday, September 8, 2017, at a local nursing facility.
Mrs. Kitts was born in 1944, in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late Myrtle and Delmar Saville. She retired in 1998 as a (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant for private care facilities and home care. Mrs. Kitts was a member of the Women’s Moose in Winchester and loved to play bingo. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her husband and two boys. She formed a special bond with the “daughters that she never had”… her daughters-in-law.
She married Gordon Graham Kitts on December 21, 1962, in Hagerstown, Maryland. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2002.
Surviving are her sons, Gordon “Kelly” Kitts and wife, Sharon, of Winchester, Douglas “Doug” Graham Kitts and wife, Sissy, of Stephens City, Virginia; granddaughter, Marcy M. Kitts of Stephens City; sisters, Lilly Saville, Sylvia Corbin (Ted), Dorothy Lafollette (Robert), Rebecca Lindamood and her brothers, Walter Saville, James Saville (Freida), Marvin Saville (Diane), and Richard Saville.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Harry Saville, infant brother, Mayberry Saville; sister, Hazel Whitacre and brother-in-law, Jim Whitacre.
Private services will be held at a later date.
