My heartfelt condolences to the family of Ms. Lind. I only found out today, 11/14/22, that Ms. Lind had passed away. Ms. Lind was the best teacher. She was kind, and I learned a lot, about business, from her. My studies, at Broad Run High School, were concentrated on business. RIP, Ms. Lind. God bless. Susan Holbert Ms. Lind's Grateful Student
William (Bill) Grewe left a message on October 21, 2022:
One of my fondest memories, as Marj's nephew, is the names she called the boys like “turkey”. We always laughed. There are seven of us, only two girls. My mom, Mary, was Marjorie's identical twin sister. One day I came home to find my mom with her hair cut short to which I exclaimed, "Mom, what did you do to your hair!" The laughing drawl in my aunt's voice told the whole story; "You, dumb boy!" My aunt had arrived unknown to me. Today, your birthday (October 21), we prepare our hearts to bury you tomorrow with your family on Saturday. Happy birthday, Marj (and mom). You are both missed. Kathleen, thank you for your years of friendship and caring for my Aunt Marjorie. Our visit with the two of you so many years ago is remembered fondly. Miss Me, But Let me Go When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free. Miss me a little – but not too long and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me – but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take and each one must go alone. It’s all a part of the Master’s plan A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart go to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds Miss me – but let me go.

I worked with Marge at PVHS in the 1980s. She was a wonderful mentor to a young teacher. Wish I'd known she lived in Winchester. Would definitely have been in touch!
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Marge was the essential veteran teacher for the opening of Park View High School. She set a positive tone with a great attitude. Not only did she teach, but she spent hours in the ticket booth for games and activities. She knew all of the newbies and coached us well. My favorite memory of Marge is when she taught our first born to fly at age one. Marge held her carefully as she swooped through the air! Yes, Marge even babysat our kids. She always went the extra mile.

Marge was the essential veteran teach that us young teachers looked up to. She set a wonderful tone and great attitude for us. She so often went beyond the classroom at the ticket booth for games and activities. My favorite memory is of Marge showing my firstborn how to fly at one year old. Yes, she even babysat our kids. What a special person she was!

I am so sorry to hear of Marge’s passing. I am forever grateful to her for forcing me to learn typing. I am was sure I wouldn’t need that skill but Marge above and beyond in teaching me. For my entire career typing has been part of my skillset. Thank you dear lady for you patience. I will miss you.
