Marilyn Bassford (Broder), 82, of Frederick County, VA, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024, at the home of her niece.

Ms. Bassford was born in 1941 in Boston, MA, daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Broder. She was a homemaker and wife to a military veteran.

Her husband, Walter E. Bassford, whom she married on June 27,1976 in California, preceded her in death in 2020.

Surviving is a niece, Kathleen Bassford and a nephew, George Bassford, Jr.; great nephew, Matthew Bassford.
Ms. Bassford is also preceded in death by a sister, June Broder.

Services will be private. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery beside her husband.
