My Grandmother was always a good listening ear, when needed someone. As my last living grandparent, it's very heartbreaking to say goodbye. But I know she is always watching over me (for the first time since she was a little shorter than myself). Everyone I see a hummingbird, I will think of her, she was always on non-stop moving. And I just found out we have the same nickname... I will always love you Grandma Lauck ❤ Mary, William, Skylar and Sophia

"Little Bit" (Marie) was loved by so many people. My mother, Frances A. Unger, treasured her as a good friend. We pray for God's strength and comfort for all the family.
Larry Hughes left a message on November 25, 2016:
Marie (Li'l Bit) was always very friendly and cheerful, and ready for an adventure. I went with her on several Frederick County day bus trips, and I saw her every day at the Senior Center. In August of 2016, I took her to visit a long time friend of hers (Frances Unger) in a Front Royal rehab facility. On the way back, we passed Dinosaur Land. Marie said, I used to take my kids there, let's go in! So we did. Unfortunately, it was a very hot day, and she did not feel like walking around the whole park, but she did enjoy seeing it again! My very deepest sympathies to her family and all her friends. Her cheerful face Will be sorely missed!
