Marie K. Glawe

Marie Dorothy Krausman Glawe, age 86, of Winchester, died Saturday at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Winchester. Mrs. Glawe was born in 1925 in Akron Ohio, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Otto Krausman. She was a housewife, a volunteer at Winchester Medical Center and a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Glawe married H. Frank Glawe on June 28, 1946 in Washington DC.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Rev. David Glawe of Alberta Canada, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a sister Louise Fowler of Maryland and a brother Ernest Krausman of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Karen Marie Glawe and Jacqueline Lea Fogle, a brother Russell Krausman and a great-granddaughter Kialanna Rayne Heishman.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor James Utt and Pastor Martha Miller Sims officiating. Burial will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
