Margie E. Browning

Margie Elaine Browning, 79, of Berryville, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018, in Winchester Medical Center.

Margie was born in 1939 in Mount Olivet, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Clyde B. and Mildred D. Wheeler. Margie graduated from Washington and Lee High School. She was a homemaker and owned her own ceramic business. She was a member of the Abundant Life Church of God, Hamilton, Virginia.

Margie married Donald Ray Browning on August 7, 1983 in Fairfax, Virginia. He preceded her in death in 2010.

Margie was the last surviving member of her family. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

A visitation will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 21st at Omps, South Chapel with the funeral service following the visitation at 12:00 pm with Reverend Paul Campbell officiating. Interment will be in National Memorial Park Cemetery, Falls Church, Virginia.

Margie will always be remembered by me as a 'special' friend. We shared the good and bad times together. She was a fun person to be with and became more than a friend. There wasn't a day that went by during the past year we didn't talk on the phone and the conversations always ended with "I love you". To have a friend like Margi doesn't happen everyday that is what made our friendship so special. My husband and I will miss her but take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.
