Margaret Priscilla Danner

Date of Death: December 31, 1969

Margaret Elliot Danner, 96, of Williamsport, Maryland entered into eternal rest Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at her residence Homewood of Williamsport.

Mrs. Danner was born November 11, 1915 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. She was the only child of John C. and Catherine B. Elliott. She was a member of the United Church of Christ.

She married Curtis Woodrow Danner on April 24, 1942 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. He preceded her in death on August 7, 1986.

She was the last member of her immediate family.

Surviving are cousins, nieces and nephews.

After graduating from high school, Margaret began her working career as an accountant and legal secretary. When they moved to Winchester in the 50’s, to their home in the country, she became a homemaker and renewed her fondness for the Art’s. She was an accomplished pianist and organist. She also enjoyed painting wildlife and landscape pictures which she gifted to friends and relatives during her lifetime.

She will be forever remembered by her friends for her kind and genuine ways and all the joy and love she brought to their lives.

A private memorial service is planned for a later date.
