Margaret “Peggy” Lucille See Flowers, 85, of Winchester, Virginia, died August 8, 2010, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Flowers was born in 1924 in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late Herman Michael and Sidney Seal See. She was a retail clerk. Mrs. Flowers was a member of Centenary Reformed United Church of Christ and the Turner Ashby Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was a graduate of John Handley High School, Class of 1942.

Her former husband, Emmett Leslie Flowers, preceded her in death in 1985.

Surviving is her son, Leslie H. Flowers, of Winchester, Virginia. Two brothers, Robert Hamilton See and Herman Keith See, preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00AM on Wednesday, in Mount Hebron Cemetery, with Reverend Barbara Rhodes officiating.

Pallbearers will be Donald J. Long, Michael A. Judson, Sr., Michael F. See, Brian E. Williams, and Howard Haymaker.

Services are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, Winchester, Virginia.

I worked with "Mrs. Flowers" at Martin's from 1972 - 1974, while attending Lord Fairfax CC.
