Margaret Elizabeth Collins Rinker, 93 of Middletown, Virginia, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Rinker was born in 1921 in Gerraldstown, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Edgar and Edith Collins. She was a book binder with Double Day in Berryville, Virginia.
She married Billye Rinker in 1950, he preceded her in death on October 16, 1966.
Surviving is her daughter, Mary Galiato of Spring Hope, North Carolina; sons, Carl Brown of Inwood, West Virginia, Frank Rinker of Middletown, Virginia; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sisters, Gladys DuBose of Marlowe, West Virginia, Anna Linton of Orlando, Florida and brother, Robert Collins of Hedgesville, West Virginia.
Six sisters, Hilda Clark, Virginia Minnick, Ida Crim, Mildred Dawson, Catherine Collis, Carrie Whitacre and four brothers, Woodrow, Howard, John and Thurman Collins, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Reverend Wayne Frum officiating. Interment will be in Reliance Cemetery, Reliance, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Carl Orndorff, Greg Foster, Rodney Foltz, Andrew Foltz, Mike Collis and Jimmy McGowan.
