Margaret Ann “Peggy” Collins Watts, 69, of Cross Junction, Virginia, passed away on March 18, 2018, at Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Watts was born in 1948, in Cumberland, Maryland, the daughter of the late Geneva Grace and Ralph W. Collins. She was a retired Sales Associate with Patton’s Furniture in Winchester and a member of Redland United Methodist Church where she volunteered with the Outreach Program. She was an avid reader and enjoyed horticulture. Mrs. Watts never met a stranger and adored her canine companion, Teacup.
Her husband, Randy Zane Watts, whom she married on June 17, 1965 in Cumberland, Maryland, preceded her in death on November 2, 2015.
Surviving are her sons, Michael Watts and his wife, Angela, of Winchester, Virginia, Billy G. Watts and his wife, Sara, of Cross Junction, Virginia; two grandsons, Zane Watts of Winchester and Brett Watts of Cross Junction; two step grandchildren, Kirsten Muck of Chicago, Illinois, Katlyn Herrera of Frederick, Maryland; sisters, Mary Jane Hott of Romney, West Virginia, Debra Livengood of Martinsburg, West Virginia and brother, Daniel Collins of Boyce, Virginia.
Mrs. Watts is preceded in death by her son, Joseph “Joe” Watts and brother, Eddie Collins.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be private.
