Marcia Rae Greene, 88, of Winchester, Virginia died peacefully on July 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, David Greene, and stepson Jeffrey Greene. She is survived by daughters Debra Hoge (George Comstock), Amy Spector (Robert O’Harrow, Jr.), and Anne Spector (David Kelly); stepchildren Frederick Greene, Ross (Lynn) Greene, and Jennifer Lepoutre; grandchildren Travis (Jordan) Hoge, Brandon Hoge, Patrick (Hannah) Hoge, Michela Monday, and Sidney Monday; nine step-grandsons; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Marcia valued her work as a library aide and administrative assistant. As a volunteer, she served as a Girl Scout leader and organizer and worked with the PTA, school library, and garden club. Upon moving to Shenandoah Valley Westminster Canterbury in 2001, she became active with the welcome committee, music club, library committee, Westbury World resident newsletter, and history committee. She enjoyed gardening, crewel embroidery, travel, nature, reading, music, and time spent with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Shenandoah Valley Westminster Canterbury on August 17 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the SVWC Fellowship Fund, 300 Westminster Canterbury Drive, Winchester, VA 22603.
