Marc Edward Secor, 69, of Capon Bridge, WV passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020, at Winchester Medical Center.
Marc was born in 1950 in New York, son of the late Emma Jeanne and Donald Griffith Secor. He was a graduate of Richard Montgomery HS, Class of 1970. Marc was a retired IT Specialist.
Marc was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan, who watched every game that he could not attend. He played chess daily online. His morning breakfast routine of Pepsi and Reese’s was well known. He loved to sit on his deck in the sunshine with the pups. He loved watching (and feeding!) the birds, especially the hummingbirds. Marc loved gardening and cooking, especially on the grill. He also loved and collected Santa everything! Trips to Las Vegas were a favorite, he loved the lights and the slots. He also loved playing Bingo.
His love of cookies was a well-known secret….we would often find him hunched over the sink eating cookies (over the sink so as not to spread gluten!).
He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Every day was a new chance for an adventure. And Marc first and foremost loved his family and spending time with them. He was one of a kind, and will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered.
He married Mary Patricia Mullin on October 10, 2006 in Las Vegas.
Surviving with his wife are daughters, Molly Jane Beuth of Capon Bridge, WV and Maurine Bridget Corbett of Landsdowne, MD; sons, Samuel Patrick Corbett of Front Royal, VA; Cory Beuth of Capon Bridge, WV, and Benjamin Secor of CA and grandchildren, Lexxi, Chloe, and Jaxon Beuth all of Capon Bridge, WV; sister, Margaret Jones of Frederick, MD; brothers, David Secor of Timonium, MD and James Secor.
A Celebration of Life gathering (cookout extravaganza, as he wished) will be announced at a later date.
