Lynette Lee (Blevins) Weddle, 72, of Frederick County, Virginia passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020, surrounded by family at her home.

Mrs. Weddle was born in 1947 in Tacoma Park, Maryland, daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Eva Blevins. She was an Administrative Assistant in Human Resources in the banking industry, eventually retiring from the National Wildlife Federation. Mrs. Weddle was an avid reader. She was a great listener and the most caring person you would ever meet. Mrs. Weddle was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother. Faith and family were the most important treasures, especially her grandchildren.

She married Arvin Andrew Weddle on January 31, 1969 in Rockville, Maryland.

Surviving with her husband, is a daughter, Laura M. Shanholtz (David) and a son, Ryan D. Weddle (Melanie); grandchildren, Spencer Shanholtz (Krista), Davis Weddle (fiancée, Colleen), and Luke Shanholtz; and a great grandson on-the-way.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 26^th2020, at Topeco Church of the Brethren, 3460 Floyd Highway South, Floyd, VA 24091, with Pastor David Hartley (Open Door Baptist Church, Clear Brook, VA) and Pastor Mike Moulden (First Christian Church, Winchester, VA) officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lynette’s memory to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, Suite 405, Winchester, Virginia 22601 and to Open Door Baptist Church, 333 Jeremiah Lane, Clear Brook, Virginia 22624.

Dear Bo....Hershey 2021 is coming up soon and we had a horrible feeling that Lynette would not be making it for this one. We are so sorry for your loss dear Hershey Friend. We are so blessed to have know Lynette the several years that we were neighbors at Hershey. She was "one in a million".....a woman so full of love and patience for everyone and her love for you was undeniable! Anyone who was just around you two for a short time could tell how much you cared for one another....a true love story! You two were a "Team" each supporting the other. We are so very sorry for your loss Bo. We don't know if we will see you at Hershey but please know that we are sending love and prayers to you and your lovely family. Take care Bo. A beautiful loving caring daughter, wife, mother, aunt, friend and my sister-in-law. Always so kind and soft spoken. I will cherish the sweet memories we had together, trip to Weddle Reunion, weekend stays, meals and family get togethers. Peace to Boh, Laura and Ryan, and the rest of the family. Take comfort in knowing she is with our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Bo, I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of your beautiful wife and your best friend. I don't know that I've ever seen two people more in love then the two of you. I so enjoyed being around you at Valley Treasures. It was one of my happiest times when you were both there. Looking at the family pictures with her on her phone....that made her smile so much. And the love you both had for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ just made my heart smile. Everyone always was asking about both of you since not seeing you much so please know you both were thought of often at the shop. And you both were always praying for me when you had so much on your own 'plate' to worry about. What wonderful people God created and put together!! Please know you are loved by many and many are praying for you now during this very trying time. You have my love always....Sarah Lee Proctor.
