April Trociuk left a message on August 22, 2013:
The sudden loss of one of the wisest men I knew will be felt by all who knew him. My heart and condolences go out to Buz's family and friends. Buz was a mentor to me at MedImmune. We worked on both day and night shifts together. He was always willing to provide advice whenever I needed it. Break time will never be the same without Buz :-(, many times he and other co workers would bring in peach and apple pies with for everyone to share. I will miss Buzs' face light up when I tell him I brought in some peanut butter pie or any of the other random desserts I made. I will miss Buz's presence at work tremendously. I send my support and love out to his family in this time of loss. ~April Trociuk

So deeply saddened to read of Buz's early departure from this earthly life. I remember all of you children, Brona, Judy, Nancy and Buz, so well. Your Mom was a wonderful friend and co-worker. Your Mom and Dad together raised a wonderful family. Although I have not seen you "kids" in quite a few years, my heart aches for all of you in sharing your loss. My best to you and the rest of Buz's family and children. With love and sympathy...Judy Yancey

Buzz & I were very close friends for over 40 years. We first met in the Shawnee Lions Club where we both shared many offices and worked on numerous projects together, resulting in a lot of fun and alot of good for the community. Buzz loved NASCAR racing and for about 20 years, we traveled to numerous NASCAR races. The fun that we all had traveling with Buzz will never, ever be forgotten. He was a very true friend and will always be with me. Frank.
