Luther H. Combs, 82, of Frederick County, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020, at his home.

Mr. Combs was born in Franklin, West Virginia, in 1937, the son of the late Rhoda E. and Harman H. Combs. He was a Diesel Mechanic for L. H. Combs Diesel Garage retiring in 2005. Mr. Combs was a member of Word of Life Ministries and of the Teamsters Union. He enjoyed doing yard work, hunting, watching old cowboy shows and NASCAR races. He especially loved his dogs.

He married Patricia A. Clark on February 1956, in Westminster, Maryland.

Surviving with his wife are daughters, Roxann S. O’Connor (Thomas), Cathy L. Bisel (Dan); son, Luther H. Combs, Jr. (Jean); grandchildren, Carrie, Rheanne, Daniel, Luke, Riley and Kailin; great grandchildren, Caleb, Jocelynn, Cooper and Jackson; and his Pitbull companion, Lilly.

I didn't know.

Luther was a very kind man. We sure will miss him at all the cookouts. Our Condolences to his wife Patty, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN ???❤

I am thinking of you and praying for you at your time of loss. Luther was a wonderful person and I feel blessed to have known him. He will be missed!

So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I picture Luther in my mind's eye sitting at Grandma table drinking coffee. I think of him when I rub Spike's ears. Spike doesn't like very many people, but he liked Luther.
