Memorial Gathering
There are not enough words to describe Luke. All of his goals in life culminated to spreading the word and ideals of God, and making sure people felt happy and loved. Compassionate, kind, caring, purposeful, and enthusiastic- these are just some ways to describe who he was, and how he held himself on this earth.
Luke was a musician and producer with Mellowtones, his personal production company. He was in many bands and a multitude of religious congregations. Whatever he did, he did wholeheartedly. Some of the many things he was passionate about were nature, cooking, art, creativity, community, family, and landscaping. He considered himself the lead groundskeeper of his land.
Luke was in classes to become a personal trainer. He had recently graduated Full Sail University with his Bachelors of Science in Music Production, and he was already working towards his Masters of Divinity with Regent University. He wanted to be a spiritual counselor and a life coach that incorporated fitness and nutrition. In his journey to connect with and support people in different walks of life, he learned several languages. He wanted to help people figure out their path.
Above all else, he was a man of faith and passion. He was an activist and an organizer. He joined the PSL, with his ultimate goal being to create a Winchester branch. Luke played a werewolf monk in D&D, and I feel that the characteristics that those roles exhibit accurately described who he was as a person. He was adamant that he wanted to do everything he could to make sure everyone had the resources they needed, and in doing so spread the love of God. In spite of, and because of everything that he went through, he chose to use his experience, his passion, and his love to help people, and to make sure that as many people as possible had the resources that he should have had access to.
Luke was a wonderful, glowing light, and an amazing person. And though we know he is with us in our hearts, we will be forever changed without him in our lives.
Until we meet again.
