Ludwig James “Jim” Indiero
Ludwig James Indiero, 69, of Frederick County, VA, died Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Winchester Medical Center.
Jim was born in 1946 in Newark, New Jersey, the son of the late Joseph and Florence (Russo) Indiero. He worked in Retail Management employed for many years with the Riverton Corporation. Known to many as Jim, James, Poppy and Popparay he was a devoted and loving husband for more than fifty years. He was a compassionate father, grandfather and friend to many. He will be forever remembered for his love of family, relaxing outside on his favorite bench and watching television. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Indiero married Vivian Pudder on December 18, 1965 in Lakewood, NJ.
Surviving with his beloved wife are three daughters Michele Shannon and her husband Michael of Winchester, Virginia, Angela Westfall and her husband Eric of Stephenson, Virginia and Kristy Williams and her husband Donnie of Winchester, Virginia; two sons Victor Indiero of Strasburg, Virginia and James M. Indiero of Winchester, Virginia; known to his twelve grandchildren as “Poppy”, Jeremy, Tyler, Anthony, Brittney, Heather, Morgan, Matthew, Damien, Hailey, Dominic, Berkley and Gage; three great grandchildren, Evan, Eli and Maddox and his brother Joseph Indiero as well as many extended family members and close friends.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers Victor and Enrico Indiero.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Interment with follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park.
