Lucinda “Cindy” Mae Bridges Sturtz, 57, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, in her home.

Mrs. Sturtz was born in 1955, in Frostburg, Maryland, the daughter of the late William Woodrow and Geraldine Gertrude Bridges. She was employed for over 20 years with Pactiv. Mrs. Sturtz was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving is her son, Shawn Sturtz and wife, Misty, of Winchester, daughter, Brandi Bullis and husband, Mike, of Winchester; six grandchildren; sisters, Janice Harden of Barrelville, Maryland, Paulette Weimer and husband, Russ, of Wellersburg, Pennsylvania.

One sister, Marlene Bridges, one brother, William Woodrow Bridges, Jr. and one brother-in-law, Donald R. Harden, preceded her in death.

All services will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2654 Valley Avenue, Suite B, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
