Juanita and family. I am so sad for your loss of Louis. I had known him as a quiet, hardworking man that was a huge help to the property owners on Great North Mountain. As directors of the association he was a Voice of reason and always willing to help the rest of the board. I served on the board for 14 years and relied on his judgment often, He will be missed and may he rest in Gods arms, in peace.?

"If teardrop were pennies and heart aches were gold. I'd have all the riches my pockets would hold. I'd be, oh, so wealthy with treasures untold. If teardrops were pennies and heartaches were gold. But teardrop aren't pennies and heart aches aren't gold." "It's been a long day without you, my friend. I hope the angels know what they have."
Ed Grabenstein left a message on September 27, 2020:
Juanita and family, please accept Pam and my deepest sympathies. Louie and I worked together for more than 35 years. I have never worked with another person who showed more patience, kindness, respect, passion, and compassion for those around him than Louie. It didn't matter your status, Louie respected you as a fellow human being. He always seemed to find a way or time to help you when you needed it most. His caring and compassion went out into the community as well. I know the Toms Brook Volunteer Fire Department is one organization that will miss him deeply. For me, Louie was more than a work acquaintance, he was a friend. One who Pam and I shared a concert or two with him and Juanita. I can't find the words. You are missed buddy.
