Maureen was a nurse for many, many years. She enjoyed teaching nursing and working in the emergency room and congestive heart failure clinic. She retired from Valley Health (Winchester Medical Center).
Traveling was one of Maureen’s favorite things to do. She enjoyed trips to Ireland, Scotland, Israel, Bahamas, Hawaii, the Virgin Islands, and many more. She loved to see the world.
Her greatest joy of all was spending time with her family and friends. From vacations, taking her grandchildren on little adventures, and hugs from her great-grandchildren, to holidays and family gatherings and celebrations. It all put a smile on her face.
Maureen fulfilled her dream to move to Florida, where she spent her last three years enjoying the sunshine, riding her golf cart, and making new friends. She volunteered at Hospice, joined a quilting group, and had many neighborhood gatherings.
She had a zest for life and was a social butterfly, with her spunky, up-beat personality. Maureen will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
