Lola Elizabeth Strosnider, 84, of Frederick County, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in Lynn Care Center, Front Royal, Virginia.
Lola was born in 1934 in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late Leslie R. and Pearl E. Ritter. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to all who knew her. Lola loved being at home and cook for her family. She enjoyed planting flowers and tending her garden. Lola was a lifelong member of Macedonia United Methodist Church.
Lola married Clifton R. Strosnider in 1952 in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Surviving in addition to her husband are five sons, Roger, Lewis, Donald, Douglas, and Arthur Strosnider; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Catherine Settle; brother, Marshall Ritter; and many loving nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Preceding her in death were sisters, Charlotte Llewellyn, Martha Orndoff, and Pauline Ritter; and brothers, Clinton, George, Ozias, and Arthur Ritter.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Macedonia United Methodist Church, 1941 Macedonia Church Road, White Post, VA with the funeral service following the visitation at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mike Mayton officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia Church Cemetery.
