Cathy, Danny, Mark, Jeanie and Becky, I have such fond childhood memories of Uncle Wimpy and all the times spent on Guard Hill. I will forever remember his wonderful booming voice. He was larger than life to Rick, Patti, Deborah and I and always had a kind word and smile for everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this really difficult time. With much love always, Michele Derflinger Bradley (Purcellville, VA)

Dearest Cathy and Family, We know that a life well lived is a joy to remember. Though our hearts are saddened by his passing, we truly believe that the world is better because of Wimpy's influence. He was truly not a cookie cutter personality. He was one of a kind! Larry and I will always look back with joy on the hours we had the pleasure to spend at church parties and gatherings with Wimpy. "Singings" held at our home and others were always so much better with his big booming voice and laugh. He was one of the few people we knew who could goof up royally and turn right around and tell you about it, laughing all the time. He inspired us with his wonderful love of our Lord. We know that even now he is in the presence of the One he lived for. May you hearts be comforted with that beautiful thought. Sorry we couldn't be with you but our hearts care. Love to all of you, Larry and Susan Lewis Richmond, Va
