Lewis N. “Louie” Kenney

Lewis Neil “Louie” Kenney, 66, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012, in his home.

Mr. Kenney was born in 1946, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of the late Roy and Virginia Madigan. Mr. Kenney was a graduate of James Wood High School class of 1964. He was employed with General Electric for many years. Louie was known for his passion and love of music, he had an ability to play the guitar and write his own songs. He also enjoyed the company of good friends and family and the great outdoors.

Surviving with his faithful companion Crystal Godwin, is his daughter, Doreen Larew and husband, David, of Winchester; son, Troy Kenney and wife, Marla, of Wichita, Kansas and Addison Messick Godwin of Winchester; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A Time of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 2:00-6:00 PM, at the family home, 130 Glen Ridge Road, Winchester, Virginia.

Arrangements are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
