Following the Interment

Lawrence Fuller Welsh, 81 of Winchester, Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Lawrence was born in Winchester, Virginia on March 19, 1944. He was a retired Scale Tech for Toledo Scales and a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam Era.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Betty Jo; daughter, Stephine Minnotte (Robb); granddaughter, Emily Minnotte; brother, Allen Ray (Sherry); sister, Cindy King (Dale) and nephew, Fuller Welsh.

He was preceded in death by his son, Sean Welsh, and parents, Lawrence and Hattie Welsh.

Services will be held at Refuge Church in Stephens City, Virginia on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 10am with Rev. Laetitia Schoeman officiating. Interment will be at the church cemetery followed by fellowship also at church.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Suite 405, Winchester, VA 22601 or to a charity of donor’s choice.
