Larry J. Stotler
Larry Junior Stotler, age 63, of Clearbrook, VA, died Friday, April 29, 2011, in the Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Stotler was born in 1948 in Winchester, VA, the son of the late Hetzel and Clara Stotler. He was a supervisor at Rubbermaid Corp., retiring in 2010 with 36 years of service, and was a member of the New Life Community Church. He loved classic cars, and was an avid traveler and camper. He was a graduate of James Wood High School, and Averett University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Germany.
Mr. Stotler married Mary Ellis Stotler on December 26, 1992 in Winchester, VA.
Surviving with his wife are sons, Rusty Lynn Stotler and wife, Sonia, of Martinsburg, WV, and Joseph Daryl Stotler of Winchester; three step children, Wayne A. Wymer, II of Stephens City, VA, Wendy Anna Richardson of Clearbrook, and Esther Christel Wymer-Hill and husband, Chris, of Winchester; a grandchild, Kyleigh, a brother, Pastor Donald Stotler and wife, Brenda, of Winchester, and his Beloved Dog, Suzy Q. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Stotler.
A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Pastor Nick Scott officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park with military honors accorded by VFW Post 2123.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
