Larry Dean Schrock, 71, of Winchester, VA passed away peacefully at his home on April 19, 2024. He was born on November 17, 1952, the son of the late Mervin and Lovina Schrock.

He was a 1970 graduate of Hartville Christian High School in Hartville, Ohio. Larry worked at the Frederick County Virginia, Shawneeland Citizens Convenience Center. He always had that wonderful smile and loved meeting anyone he came in contact with. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, being outdoors and his cats. He attended Healing Waters Bikers Church in Capon Bridge, West Virginia.

He is survived by 4 brothers, John Schrock, Timothy Schrock, and Franklin Schrock all of Virginia, Frederick Schrock of North Carolina; 5 sisters, Susan Hochstetler of Canada, Debra Yoder of North Carolina, Joy Hileman of Ohio, Juanita Herber of Pennsylvania, and Charlotte Schrock of Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be on Saturday June 15 from 1-3pm with a service at 2pm at the Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, 1600 Amherst St., Winchester

We are saddened to learn of Larry's death. He was always friendly to people using the convenience center in Shawneeland, especially to the children. Whenever a child was helping me, he came out to offer them a candy. He introduced himself as "Larry the Lollipop Man". We will miss him.
