Dr. Larry Spencer Bartell of Berkley Springs, West Virginia passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the age of 76.
He was born November 14, 1935 to Lucille Scoville Bartell and Delos Arnold Bartell in Mason City, Iowa. He graduated from Mason City High School and Mason City Junior College. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Leon, France. After his military service, he graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College. He married Jeanette “Jan” McCoy. For many years, Larry had a successful private practice in Falls Church, VA where he was a president of the Northern Virginia Chiropractic Association. He was preceded in death by his parents Delos and Lucille Bartell; first wife Jeanette McCoy Bartell; paternal grandparents Oscar and Alice Bartell; maternal grandparents Joseph and Adeline Scoville, and brother Glenn Bartell.
