Tiffani Haney left a message on January 30, 2020:
He was my student at Aylor MS and a joy to have in class. It was sometimes difficult to stay serious when he would smile mischievously. I may have been hard on him at times (after all, what English teacher isn't stern when trying to get adolescents to read and write), but I truly enjoyed his fun loving spirit and remember him fondly.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Heather Kourcklas left a message on January 30, 2020:
I'm heartbroken for Kyle's family, friends and all who loved him, including myself. I enjoyed every minute that I spent with Kyle and Hannah and loved having them when they would come visit us at the lake. Their laughter and love filled my home and was infectious. I looked forward to their visits and was always a little sad when they left. I was especially touched when I learned that Kyle would go visit my mom, Hannah's grandmother, who is in a nursing home...on his own...by himself to work on puzzles with her. What a gift he gave my mom. The gift of his compassion, his love and his time. She looked forward to his visits, with or without Hannah and she asked about him every single day and always told me what a wonderful young man he is and how much she loved him. His crossing is such a loss for so many. Taken decades too soon for a reason unknown to all but God. I pray that all who mourn might find comfort one day that Kyle is in a place where there is nothing but love, light and peace. Soar high Kyle and please watch over my niece while she navigates these dark, rough waters. Please keep her safe. You are missed and you are loved. Rest in peace. Heather

Kyle was one of the best people I have had the opportunity to meet at Radford University. I first met him when we were freshman in Muse hall and from there our friendship skyrocketed. He truly was one of the happiest, most free spirited people at this university. I write this message with great sadness, as I believe he was taken from us way too soon. Kyle will forever be missed by his friends in the Radford community and will truly never be forgotten. Greek life will not be the same without your sweet soul. I send my prayers to the friends and family of Kyle and hope your healing begins soon.
