Kyle Edward Steverson

Kyle Edward Steverson, 26, of Winchester, VA, died Thursday, September 10, 2015 in Winchester Medical Center.

Kyle was born in 1988 in Winchester, VA, the son of Wanda and Steve Steverson.  Kyle was a loving and caring father who worked hard and was loved by all who crossed his path. 

Kyle was preceded in death by a sister, Stephanie Joyce Steverson, who was killed at age 12 in a car accident.

He is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Trinity-Lynn Grady and Madison-Noelle Stephanie Steverson; mother and stepfather, Wanda J. and Linny Cole of Winchester, VA; father, Steve Steverson of North Carolina; brother, Clayburne Steverson (Bonnie); sister, Amanda Church (Mark); half-brothers, Dennis and Tracy Steverson; step-sister, Amy Hamill (Doug); step-brother, Bronson Cole; Aunt, Lois Christensen; uncle, Calvin Demastus; and Madison’s mother, Claudia Martinez.  Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.  Interment will be private.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tracy Steverson, Doug Hamill, Robert Cyr, Robert Puffinburger, Thomas Wilkins, and Nick Winfield.  Honorary pallbearers will be Linny Cole, Clay Steverson and Mark Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his daughters’ names, Trinity-Lynn Grady and Madison-Noelle Stephanie Steverson, c/o Wanda Cole and mailed to Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, 1600 Amherst Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
