Kinley B. Alfred, 85, of Winchester, Virginia passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 in Berryville, Virginia.

Mr. Alfred was born in 1934 in Fairfax, Virginia the son of the late Walter Stoddard Alfred and Martha Jane (Lowe) Alfred. He was a machine operator with Forecast Furniture for 12 years and was also employed with Shenandoah Apple Factory. Kinley loved the outdoors and enjoyed to hunt and fish.

His wife, Dorothy Marie (Cooper) Alfred preceded him in death in 2015.

Surviving is a son Kinley “Burl” Alfred, (Christel), grandchildren, Hank Alfred, Gina Alfred, Christopher Alfred and Shatara Williams (Robert); great grandchild, Aniyah Williams. Kinley is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in laws and many dear friends.
Kinley is preceded in death by brothers, Roy, Lester, Floyd, Leonard “Pedro”, Norman, Walter, Cecil, Lawrence, Charlie and Newman Alfred; sisters, Elsie Allnut and Mary Scott.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 11:00 am at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Pastor Mike Mayton officiating. Entombment will be at Shenandoah Memorial
Park Mausoleum.
