Kimala M. Davis, 59, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.
Kim was born on March 17, 1967, in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of Mary Margaret (Wilson) Davis and the late Robert E. Davis Jr. She was a high school graduate of James Wood High School and went on to work as a production worker for DuPont and Hood prior to her retirement.
Kim was a faithful member of Winchester Bible Church. She had a vibrant spirit and found her greatest joy in spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she cherished family gatherings where she could cook for those she loved. She also enjoyed beach trips, especially to Ocean City, Maryland and was an avid fan rooting for the Washington Redskins.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Margaret Davis; her daughter, Anitia Nicole Davis; her son, Devon Isiah Davis (Marissa); her four grandchildren, Aaliyah, Dezmen, Devyn, and Delilah; her brother, Robert “Bob” E. Davis III (Stacy); and her nieces, Victoria, and Elizabeth Davis.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Pastor John Lock officiating. Following the graveside service, a reception will be held at Hayfield Family Restaurant.
