Kevin Wayne Costello, 61, of Cross Junction, Virginia, died Saturday, July 4, 2015, at his home.

Mr. Costello was born in 1953, in Arlington, Virginia, the son of the late Calvin B. and Virginia B. Costello. He attended James Madison High School in Vienna, Virginia. Mr. Costello worked in the Automotive Industry for 45 plus years and was a member of Winchester Church of God.

Mr. Costello enjoyed the outdoor life, was a life member of the NRA and was the property manager for Potomac Appalachian Trail Club.

He married Deborah Ann Patterson on June 10, 1978, in Fairfax, Virginia.

Surviving with his wife is his daughter, Jennifer Michelle Coelho and husband, Johnny; son, Scott Costello and wife, Tabitha; grandchildren, Connor Costello-Victoria, Hailey Costello, Zoe Costello, Damien Costello, Jackson Costello; his beloved black lab, Luke, Maltese, Earl and his three cats, Chase, Mason and Charlotte.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Timothy J. Costello.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 PM on Thursday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Kevin to the American Lung Association, 9702 Gayton Road, Suite 110, Richmond, VA 23238.
