Kenneth Edward Mosher, age 69, of Lake Frederick, Virginia passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 in Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Mosher was born in 1950 in El Paso, Texas, the son of the late Kenneth A. and Marie A. Mosher. He was a graduate of Annandale High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. Kenneth was a plumber by trade working for Fred W. Borden before becoming a permit inspector and plan reviewer for Prince William County in Woodbridge, Virginia, retiring in 2014. His hobbies included woodworking, gardening and cooking. He was known to brag about his tomatoes, “I grow the largest tomatoes in Virginia”. Kenneth also enjoyed hunting, going to the beach and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was of the catholic faith.
Kenneth married Sharon Lee Storm on July 25, 2009 in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Sharon Mosher, sons, Timothy, Andrew (Nicole) and Matthew Mosher; step son, Matthew Ursino; mother of his children, Gail Dietze; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen Lehnhard (Bruce), Sandra Hentz (Richard), and Anita Hobson; brother, John Mosher; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Mosher.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 17th from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Omps, South Chapel, 1270 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, Virginia. The service will begin at 2:00 PM following the visitation with Pastor Mike Mayton officiating.
