Kathryn E. Jacoby, 92, formerly of Murrysville, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at a local nursing facility.

Mrs. Jacoby was born in 1933, in Bethlehem, PA, the daughter of the late Stephen Oravec and Ann Muller. Mrs. Jacoby was a graduate of Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Winchester, VA. Throughout her life, she was very involved with the Girl Scouts at every level. Mrs. Jacoby was a founding volunteer at the Senior Center in Murrysville, PA. She was an expert seamstress and tailor and refinished furniture.

She married John Elwood, on December 25, 1957, in Bethlehem.

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Susan Groom (James) of Winchester, VA, Judy Eichner (Glenn) of Allison Park, PA and son, James B. Jacoby (Karen) of West Chester, PA; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, as well as one great great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be at a later date.
